Did some timing and route planning yesterday while we rode out the storm. I wanted to go all the way to California but Daniel needs to be back in PA by the end of the month and we figured it would be too hard and we wouldn’t have enough time to really enjoy anything. Our plan is to head though Vegas, visit my Uncle who is near their and turn around and come back to see the Grand Canyon and ride through Colorado, etc. If anyone has any recommendations on things we should see, I can modify our route and visit them as long as it’s more or less in the general direction we are traveling. I posted a picture from my mapping software so you can see the route we are following.
Today we will be going to Mount Rushmore and see if their is anything else we have time to see before we head South-West.
